Booking Process
We’ve designed our booking process to be simple, transparent, and tailored to you from start to finish.
For the fastest response, we recommend reaching out via Instagram direct message. From there, we’ll chat about your ideas, the style you’re after, and the approximate size of the piece so we can provide a rough quote.
Depending on the design and your preference, we can then organise a free consultation. This gives us the opportunity to go into more detail, refine your concept, and ensure everything is aligned before moving forward.
Once you’re happy to proceed, a deposit is required to secure your booking and lock in an appointment time. From that point on, you’re welcome to communicate directly with your artist about your design or any details leading up to your session.
On the day of your appointment, we’re always happy to make final adjustments whether that’s refining the design or scaling it to best suit your body. We take the time needed to ensure you are 100% confident before we begin, because your tattoo should feel exactly right.
If you need to reschedule, that’s absolutely fine we just require at least 48 hours’ notice. Please note that deposits are non refundable.

How do I book an appointment?
We operate on a private, appointment only basis. Please reach out directly to our artists via DM to share your tattoo idea, size, and placement preferences.
What safety measures are in place?
We are fully council approved and licensed, operating in strict accordance with all local health and safety regulations. Your wellbeing is our top priority, and we take every measure to ensure a safe and professional environment at all times.
We use only single use, disposable equipment for every client, eliminating any risk of cross contamination. All tools and surfaces are maintained to hospital-grade cleanliness standards, with rigorous sterilisation and sanitation procedures followed before, during, and after each appointment.
From preparation to aftercare, every step of our process is designed to provide you with complete peace of mind, ensuring your tattoo experience is not only exceptional in quality but also safe and hygienic.
Does it hurt?
Pain levels vary depending on the placement of the tattoo and individual tolerance. Areas with thinner skin or closer to bone tend to be more sensitive. If you're unsure, we’re happy to guide you on placements and what to expect.
How long does it take to heal?
Healing times can vary from person to person, but most tattoos take around two weeks to settle on the surface. The first 48 hours are the most important, and following proper aftercare will ensure the best results.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes you are welcome to bring a friend along, just let your artist know in advance so we can accommodate comfortably within the space.
Unfortunately we do not allow children under the age of 14 years old as guests in our studio due to injury risk and potential distraction for our artists while they work.
What are the age requirements for getting tattooed?
Victorian laws require you to be strictly 18 years old or over to get a tattoo, regardless of parental/guardian permission.
It is also a legal requirement that you cannot be under the influence of illicit drugs or alcohol during your session.

What is the studio environment like?
Our studio is a fully self contained building with toilet facilities, private parking and private access. We provide a quiet, clean, and professional environment where you can relax while we focus on delivering your tattoo without distractions.
Our chairs are chiropractic grade, offering exceptional support to keep you comfortable throughout your session. We also offer complimentary beverages, Wi-Fi, and access to streaming services on our in studio TV.
Everything we’ve created is tailored to ensure you have the most comfortable and enjoyable tattoo experience possible.
Are walk-ins accepted?
As a private studio, we operate by appointment only. All bookings are made through Instagram, text or email, allowing us to discuss your ideas in detail, understand your vision, and design something you’ll truly love while maintaining our high standards of care and professionalism.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
We recommend getting a good night’s rest, eating a solid meal beforehand, and staying well hydrated. Please avoid alcohol before and immediately after your appointment, as it can significantly affect the tattooing process and healing.
Do you do custom designs only?
We tailor each design to suit you, ensuring your tattoo feels personal and unique. For realism or portrait work, we may stay closer to the photo reference to maintain accuracy and detail.
While we are happy to draw inspiration from other artist's work, please note we will not copy another artist's design and we strongly appreciate artistic freedom where possible.
When will I see my design?
We generally don't send designs out before the day of the session for a few important reasons- time constraints, outside feedback, miscommunication and design theft to name a few. Sometimes we will show you a design draft a night or two before depending on the artist and the situation. Don't worry, we are more than happy to make adjustments to the design on the day and communication is always easier in person at this stage of the process.

Tattoo Aftercare
Proper aftercare is essential to ensure your tattoo heals well and looks its best long term.
Cleaning and Hydration
Keep your tattoo clean by gently washing it with lukewarm water twice daily (and after exercise or contact with dirty environments) with a mild, fragrance-free soap. Pat the tattooed area dry with a clean towel or air dry, do not rub. Apply a thin layer of tattoo aftercare cream 2–3 times a day to keep the area hydrated. Avoid over applying, as your tattoo still needs to breathe during the healing process. Avoid direct contact with pet hair, dirty environments and harsh chemicals until the tattoo is healed.
Hands Off and Protecting
During healing, avoid touching your tattoo with unclean hands, and do not pick or scratch at any scabbing or peeling. This is a normal part of the healing process and interfering with it can affect the final result. Wear loose, clean clothing over the area to prevent irritation.
Water and Sun Safety
Avoid soaking your tattoo in water (such as baths, pools, or the ocean) until it is fully healed. Showers are fine. Keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight and avoid excessive sweating where possible during the initial healing period. Most tattoos take around 2–3 weeks to heal on the surface. Sun protection after the healing process is also strongly recommended for maintaining the quality of your tattoo and minimising skin cancer risk.
